Hydro12 Opening Address by Robert Ward

The Hydro12  opening address will be given by Robert Ward, currently director and president-elect of the IHO. He already has expressed his experience with the theme ‘Taking Care of the Sea’. The opening address is scheduled at the start of the conference, on Tuesday 13 November 2012 on board the permanently moored cruise vessel SS Rotterdam in Rotterdam.

In addition to the opening address, four interesting keynote speakers from various backgrounds will share their experience and vision during the conference days. The conference includes over 50 oral presentations and added poster presentations, as well as a trade show where companies are exhibiting their new developments. More than 300 hydrographic professionals are expected to attend.

Hydro12 is to take place from 13 to 15 November 2012 in Rotterdam. On Monday 12 November, the event starts with an informal Ice-breaker party. Registration is open and hotel accommodation on board is arranged at a discounted price. Also an attractive flight arrangement has been made in addition to the convenient links to Rotterdam by road, boat, train and air travel.
